  • Patent number: 11759147
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting concussions in real-time are provided. An exemplary system of detecting concussions in real time includes an accelerometer to measure acceleration event and generate an accelerometry signal. The system includes a plurality of electrodes to detect an electroencephalogram (EEG) and each of the electrodes can be attached to a top region of the headgear through a flexible shaft. The system further includes a signal processing circuit to amplify, filter and broadcast an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal to a local wireless receiving unit.

  • Patent number: 9474462
Abstract: A method for organizing and displaying EEG data obtained from C EEG channels on a computer system in a user-friendly manner includes placing the C EEG channels into a schematic placement diagram dividing the C EEG channels, using a processor, into G channel groups for each of the G channel groups, combining any of the C EEG channels in such G channel group, using a processor, into a single trace, and for each of the G channel groups, displaying the single trace. A system for organizing and displaying EEG data is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150099962
Abstract: Method and device for the automatic identification of phase-locked high-frequency oscillations (PLHFO) to localize epileptogenic brain for neurosurgical intervention, including filtering brain signals into low frequency and high frequency oscillation (HFO) data streams. Applying ICA to the HFO data stream, transforming the data streams to produce an HFO instantaneous amplitude (HFOIA) and a low-frequency instantaneous phase (LFIP) data stream. Transforming the normalized HFOIA to produce an instantaneous phase of the normalized HFOIA. Determining a continuous or discrete PLHFO calculation that measures cross frequency coupling between the instantaneous phase of the low frequency data stream, and the instantaneous amplitude of the HFO data stream based at least in part on LFIP, raw or normalized HFOIA, and may include the instantaneous phase of normalized or raw HFOIA.

  • Patent number: 5633807
Abstract: A system and method integrate mask layout tools to automate the generation of mask layouts for fabricating an integrated circuit corresponding to an input netlist and a timing specification. The mask layout is generated by the method including the steps of automatically sizing transistors specified in the netlist, clustering the sized transistors into cells, generating a cell library, and placing-and-routing the cells to generate the mask layout. The system includes associated memory and stored programs, including a plurality of mask layout tools; and a processor operated by an automatic mask layout generation program for sequentially applying the plurality of mask layout tools to generate the mask layout from the input data.

  • Patent number: 5367566
Abstract: To facilitate the processing of an incoming telephone call associated with a respective telecommunications network service an initial address message identifying the incoming call is intercepted before the message is presented to an associated toll switch that will process the call. The intercepted message is then examined in order to identify the toll switch service logic that will process the call. The resulting identity is then appended to the message and that result is then passed to the toll switch so that the identified service logic may be invoked to process the call in accord with the requested service.
