Abstract: A battery pack charger including a housing, a battery pack receptacle supported by the housing and configured to receive a battery pack, a charging circuit configured to transmit power from a power input circuit to the battery pack receptacle, and a controller. The controller is operable to receive a first input via a user interface, set a first power output level of the charging circuit based on the received first input, and provide the first power output level to the battery pack coupled to the battery pack receptacle.

Abstract: Communication systems described herein may include a wireless charging device with a plurality of charging stations. The wireless charging device may communicate with a first battery pack via at least one of a wireless communication device and a first battery pack detection sensor of a first charging station. The wireless charging device may communicate with a second battery pack via at least one of the wireless communication device and a second battery pack detection sensor of a second charging station. The wireless charging device may determine that the first battery pack was manufactured by a different manufacturer than the second battery pack. The wireless charging device may communicate status information to an external device for display by the external device. The status information may include a first manufacturer of the first battery pack and a second manufacturer of the second battery pack that is different than the first manufacturer.

Abstract: A portable power supply including a housing, a circuit, a battery power source, and an electronic-ink display. The housing supports a battery power source and a power outlet. The circuit is supported by the housing and includes a power input from the battery power source, a power output on the power outlet, and an inverter electrically connected between the power input and the power output. The battery power source includes a battery cell electrically connectable to the power input. Power is transferrable from the battery cell to the circuit to be output through the power output. The electronic-ink display is configured to display one or more parameters associated with the portable power source.

Abstract: Various power units that couple with modular storage units are shown. In one example, a power unit includes a power storage device and one or more power outlet interfaces. One of the surfaces of the power unit includes a coupling mechanism that permits that power unit to couple with modular storage units. In one embodiment, the power unit includes a frame and wheels coupled to the frame to permit the power unit to be more easily transported.
