Abstract: A vegetable cutting device incorporating a turntable for placement thereon of the vegetables to be cut and chopped. The device includes a cutting board having a cutting board top surface and an aperture formed in a center thereof, a turntable having a shaft integrally formed perpendicularly to a center of a bottom surface, the shaft being receivable within the aperture, a cutting tool mounted upon the cutting board top surface and a basket having a perforated bottom shelf, the basket being hingedly attachable to the cutting board. In a stored position, the cutting board rests upon a top surface of the basket and the turntable and cutting tool are receivable within the basket.

Abstract: A method for deriving reservoir lithology and fluid content for a target location from pre-stack seismic reflection data. The method uses inversion of pre-stack seismic reflection data for both the target location and a calibration location having known subsurface lithology and fluid content to derive the subsurface lithology and fluid content at the target location. The inversion process is preferably a viscoelastic inversion to account for the effects of friction on seismic wave propagation. The results of the inversion process are a set of subsurface elastic parameters for both the target and calibration locations. Relative magnitudes of these subsurface elastic parameters are compared, together with the known subsurface lithology and fluid content at the calibration location, to derive the subsurface lithology and fluid content at the target location.

Abstract: A tablet dispenser for housing a roll of tablets that are wrapped in a foil (or other protective material), and for sequentially removing tablets from the roll by cutting the foil. In one preferred embodiment, the roll is loaded at one end of a hollow case. A cap that attaches to the case via pivot means is located at the end of the case opposite its loading end. With the cap in a closed position, the roll is pressed in as far as possible so that the end-most tablet (to be dispensed) snugly fits to the entire interior of the cap. The cap has teeth along an interior wall. In the process of opening the cap, the teeth cut the foil and lift a tablet from the roll. When the cap is in its closed position, the roll is sealed from dust and other adverse environmental conditions.
