  • Patent number: 11916862
Abstract: Techniques for identifying mention identifiers within a message using a mentions processor are discussed herein. In some examples, a communication platform maintains a mentions processor configured to receive a message including a mention identifier, analyze the message to determine a type of the mention identifier included in the message, identify a second user account or a virtual space referenced by the mention identifier, determine whether a notification should be sent to the second user account or the virtual space, and, upon determining that the notification should be sent, send the notification associated with the message to the second user profile or the virtual space. In some examples, an observability class associated with the mentions processor allows the use of a mentions lookup tool to view one or more stored mention identifiers associated with the message and one or more stored notifications enqueued for the message.

  • Publication number: 20230186148
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. The program retrieves a data object associated with a defined category. The program further determines a subcategory of the defined category associated with the data object. The program also determines a set of machine learning models based on the subcategory of the defined category associated with the data object. The program further uses the set of machine learning models to determine a first set of data values. Based on the set of data values, the program also derives a second set of data values associated with the data object.

  • Publication number: 20190266474
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to character recognition using neural networks. In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes a computer implemented method comprising processing a plurality of characters using a first recurrent machine learning algorithm. The first recurrent machine learning algorithm sequentially produces a first plurality of internal arrays of values. The first plurality of internal arrays of values are stored to form a stored plurality of arrays of values. The stored plurality of arrays of values are multiplied by a plurality of attention weights to produce a plurality of selection values. An attention array of values is generated from the stored arrays based on the selection values. The attention array of values is processed using a second recurrent machine learning algorithm, the second recurrent machine learning algorithm produces a recognized character sequence.

  • Patent number: 8671595
Abstract: An ornamentation attachable to a strap, such as a strap of on an item of a footwear. The ornamentation comprises a base, an ornament associated with the base and a mounting means for mounting the base to the strap. The ornament may be associated with the base in any appropriate way; for example, by being formed integrally with the base, permanently attached to the base or removably attachable to the base. The base is configured for engagement by the mounting means. The mounting means comprises an elastic band adapted to be hooked onto curved end portions of the base.

  • Patent number: 8190626
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for the comparison of anonymized data entries are described. In one embodiment the present invention is a computer-implemented method for comparing anonymized data entries, including separately processing data entries in a query list and a search database by: normalizing, generating variants, scoring, and anonyminizing. The expanded and anonymized data entries in the query list and the search database are then compared to find an exact match. In another embodiment, the present invention is a system for comparing anonymized data entries, having a list expansion module, an anonymizer module, and a matching module.

  • Publication number: 20060117388
Abstract: A system and method for modeling information security risk to an enterprise are disclosed. The method includes providing multiple input media, each of which forms a vector of risk severity in a dimension characterizing the information security risk. Each vector is of a dimension distinct from that of each other vector. The input media are user interactive for providing input to a computer in a network environment. The input includes data corresponding to the magnitude and dimension of each of the vectors. Upon receiving the input, the vectors are processed to output a model of the information security risk. Each risk can be modeled from the perspective of at least two dimensions, one related to a technical exploitation aspect of the risk, and the other related to a risk aspect associated with business impact. The input media can be a web based application.
