Abstract: A system and method for copying and pasting cells in a multi-dimensional spreadsheet. The method is implemented by execution of program code by a processor of a computer system. A source range of cells is copied and pasted in a multi-dimensional spreadsheet onto a destination range of cells in the spreadsheet by performance of a comprehensive paste of the source range of cells onto the destination range of cells. A graphical object in the source range of cells has an associated fastened range of cells, and an associated working range of cells identified by a first relative offset. The copying and pasting results in: the graphical object being within the destination range of cells; and the fastened range of cells and the working range of cells being respectively pasted into an associated fastened range of cells and an associated working range of cells in the destination range of cells.

The on-line help information is dependent on content of a selected object of the office application. A user of the office application is provided with help information setting forth an example directly derived from content of the currently selected object or cell. Content of a user entry field within the object is parsed to determine whether a predefined keyword is present, and if so, at least one parameter associated with the keyword and at least one format or rule related to the at least one parameter are identified. The at least one format and rule specified in the help information are employed in correcting content of the user entry field, for example, for display to the user.

Abstract: A method for load balancing traffic among routers in a data transmission system that includes a network, a set of routers, and a plurality of groups of servers. Each group of servers transfers its flow of data to the network through a first router, the address of which is assigned by a routing protocol. The load on the first router is compared periodically with a predetermined high threshold. If the load exceeds the high threshold, the priority of the first router is lowered in order to transfer the flow of data to a second router. If the load on the first router is subsequently found to be less that a predetermined low threshold, the priority of the first router is increased in order to transfer the flow of data from the second router back to the first router.
