Abstract: The invention relates to a novel therapeutic use of zinc gluconate. The zinc gluconate is used in a form for oral administration, at a daily dosage of between 45 and 125 mg, for treating suppurative hidradenitis, or Verneuil's disease.

Abstract: A manually operated metering pump for a container with a flexible body, comprising a metering chamber (20) between a lower valve (21) and an upper valve (48), a spring-biased push button (34), and a nozzle communicating with the metering chamber (20) via a central channel. The lower valve (21) is flexible and frusto-conical, and the upper valve (48) is supported on a disc (47) forming the base of a hollow rod (43) secured to the push button (34), and engages the bottom of a hollow plunger (32) operated via a push button (34).

Abstract: The axial passage (15) of the central foot (14) of the membrane support (13) comprises a valve seat (14) applied on the extremity of a hollow stem (5) of the continuous valve to fill the measuring cap (11) during the phase of measuring the amount of material to be dispensed, and which moves away from the extremity of the hollow stem (5) to put in communication the measuring cap and the port (21) during the discharge phase.

Abstract: A metering valve adapted to be mounted on a container for delivering a liquid under pressure contained in the container, of the type comprising a metering head with an elastic membrane, an end-sleeve, a valve body and a piston sliding in the valve body and formed with a blind central bore and a radial throughgoing hole opening into the central bore. The valve body is made of two portions, a lower portion positioned to be located inside the container when the valve is mounted on the container and an upper portion applied on the lower portion positioned to be inside the container, but extending outside the container on a major portion thereof when the valve is so mounted. The upper portion of the valve body is formed with a bore in which slides a piston limited upwardly by a shoulder forming an abutment for the piston. The piston is formed with an outer annular groove in its central portion surrounded by two O-rings. The radial throughgoing hole of the piston opens into the annular groove.

Abstract: This invention relates to the use of zinc gluconate for making a medicament administered by the oral route and containing from 50 to 150 mg of zinc gluconate, said medicament being used for the treatment of hyperprolactinaemias.
