    Abstract: An installation device is for installing a sample separating device for separating a liquid sample in a sample separating tool. The installation device includes a first fluid connection for fluidically connecting to a first fluid connection point of the sample separating device, and an actuation device that can be actuated by a user for converting between an access position and a fluid coupling position. The access position makes the sample separating device accessible to the user, and the fluid coupling position fluidically couples the sample separating device. The installation device also includes a fluid coupling mechanism, which forms a force-loaded fluidic connection between the first fluid connection and the first fluid connection point when the sample separating device is converted into the fluid coupling position by the actuation device. The sample separating device may, for example, be configured for chromatography.
