Abstract: One example aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a computing system that includes at least one processor and at least one tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations. The operations can include receiving, at a user computing device, an input that requests conducting a financial transaction with respect to a financial institution account that is provided by a financial institution; and adjusting, at a platform server system that is controlled by an entity that is different and distinct from the financial institution, an electronic ledger to conduct the financial transaction; and transmitting, from the platform server system to the financial institution, data describing the electronic ledger.
