  • Publication number: 20070048063
Abstract: A fluid applicator device includes a wipe layer, and a back layer attached to the wipe layer to form an interior space therebetween. A pouch is positioned within the interior space, and a fluid composition is contained within a cavity defined in the pouch. Exit structure is defined in the pouch through which the composition exits the cavity. A flap is defined by an extension of the pouch material and is folded over onto the pouch so as to releasably seal over the exit structure. The flap has an extension that extends out from between the wipe layer and back layer a sufficient distance so as to be grasped by a user. When the flap extension is pulled by the user, the flap is caused to unfold and unseal the exit structure. The fluid composition is the pressed out of the pouch with use of the applicator.

  • Publication number: 20070045135
Abstract: A wipe includes a substrate with a pouch configured on an application side thereof. An access opening is provided into an internal space of the pouch. A composition delivered by the wipe upon use of the product is stored in a container that is inserted into the pouch through the access opening. Upon use of the wipe, the container within the pouch releases the composition, which is delivered through the pouch for application by the wipe.

  • Publication number: 20070048062
Abstract: A fluid applicator device includes a cover layer and a pouch positioned adjacent a back side of said cover layer. A fluid composition is contained within the pouch. Exit structure is configured at a location on the pouch and is adjacent to the cover layer. The exit structure is in isolated fluid communication with a defined portion of the cover layer that is permeable to the fluid composition within the defined portion such that the fluid composition released from the pouch migrates through the cover layer only within the defined portion.

  • Publication number: 20050241089
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a device for treating surfaces, and/or cleaning and/or polishing surfaces. The device comprises a hollow member having an open end adapted for the insertion of two or more fingers. The hollow member is defined between a first sheet layer which includes an elastic layer and a second sheet layer including a fibrous nonwoven web layer having an outer surface. The fibrous nonwoven web layer is impregnated on at least a portion of the outer surface with a treating composition such as a buffing, cleaning polishing or other treating composition.

  • Publication number: 20050114154
Abstract: A method and system of providing feedback to personnel performing a given procedure is provided. The system and methodology comprises at least one sensor carried by each piece of required equipment. The sensor is configured to contain information to identify the piece of equipment in which it is configured. In addition, at least one sensor is carried by an individual or positioned in an individual's environment. The sensor is configured to detect a hazardous change. Further, at least one other sensor is configured to detect at least one characteristic of an individual's physiological condition. The sensor is positioned adjacent an individual during a procedure. The individual desirably carries a scanner to permit communication with sensors. The scanner is configured to send and receive signals from the sensors.
