  • Patent number: 9721444
Abstract: A theft alarm system includes a personal article that may be carried. The personal article has a closure that is positionable in an open position. An alarm unit is coupled to the personal article. The alarm unit is in communication with the closure such that the alarm detects when the closure is manipulated into the open position. A base unit is configured to be carried and the base unit is in communication with the alarm unit. The base unit selectively emits an audible alarm when the personal article has been opened. The base unit selectively actuates the alarm unit to emit an audible alarm thereby facilitating the personal article to be located. An electronic device is provided and the electronic device may be carried. The electronic device is in wireless communication with the alarm unit. The electronic device emits an audible alarm when the personal article is opened.

  • Publication number: 20080042359
Abstract: A floor mounted, or wall mounted target assembly provides an audible indication of scoring a point when a ball or other type of resilient projectile is properly launched so as to impact the bulls eye portion of the target assembly. The target assembly includes a base unit positioned on the playing surface with foam cushioning elements affixed to the top surface of the base unit, which in turn support a steel ringer plate adhesively fixed to the top of the cushions. The action of the target assembly is such that a suitable projectile that is lofted through the air and lands upon the steel ringer plate, will cause deflection of the cushions supporting the ringer plate. This will result in the ringer plate impacting the raised portion of the base (22) with sufficient force to create a ringing noise.

  • Patent number: 7108097
Abstract: An recumbent bicycle or tricycle, FIG. 1B, having an electric assist module mounted between the pedal mechanism and rear wheel gear mechanism. This mounting position allows the assist module to take advantage of the bicycle or tricycle's rear wheel gears to increase performance with the secondary advantage of reducing the length of the chain driving the rear wheel gears resulting in improved shifting.
