  • Publication number: 20210028974
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for investigating, tracking, preventing, and providing accountability for telecommunication network outages, particularly human error outages. In one implementation, a ticket is received for a network outage. The ticket specifies a responsible team and an estimated outage reason for the network outage. The estimated outage reason indicates a human error by the responsible team. A notification of the ticket is provided to the responsible team. The notification prompts an action by the responsible team. The action specifies whether the team made the human error. The ticket is completed based on the action and stored. The completed ticket details a root cause of the network outage and a performance management strategy for preventing future network outages similar to the network outage.

  • Publication number: 20150278751
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for tracking and managing order milestones for efficient management to increase customer satisfaction in delivering a VPN or other telecommunications service. In some implementations, a quality milestone manager permits a user to quickly obtain a status of orders, tasks, and a performance of the various functional groups involved in delivering an order. The quality milestone manager integrates with multiple disparate order entry systems and workflow and process systems and extracts information corresponding to the tasks to deliver each order. The information is correlated and normalized into aggregated milestones, which are output as a tiered management view with predictive key performance indicators.

  • Publication number: 20150046232
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for tracking attributes of an order for one or more products, such as telecommunication products or services. In one implementation, a record for an order for one or more products is generated. The record specifies sales exit criteria corresponding to one or more defects in the order. The record is stored in one or more databases. A notification for modifying the order is generated based on the sales exit criteria, and changes made to the order are tracked based on the sales exit criteria. The record is updated based on the tracked changes.

  • Publication number: 20150046231
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for increasing order quality. In one implementation, an order for a product, such as a telecommunication product or service, is received. Information corresponding to critical order attributes is extracted from the order. The critical order attributes include technical data for provisioning the product. The information is automatically validated according to a set of critical-to-quality rules defined based on the product. An auditor review of the information is received. The auditor review assigns a pass/fail status to the order. The validated information is collated with the auditor review to obtain an order status. A determination of whether the order is complete for release to provision the product is based on the order status.

  • Patent number: 8724781
Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure involve a system and/or method for correlating the cost of ordered telecommunications services. The system receives a customer order that includes various services. The services are matched to available solutions for the services. Each solution includes one or more product instances that are used to implement the solution. Each product instance may be matched to a service component. Each service component may be associated with an on-net service or an off-net service. Service components associated with on-net services may be assigned a cost. Service components associated with off-net services may be correlated to an off-net service and an estimated cost.
