    Abstract: An anonymous leaderboard for a monitored computing environments is provided. In response to an entity registering with the monitored computing environment (MCE), an encrypted identity and a dynamic non-fungible token (NFT) are generated for the registered entity, where the dynamic NFT has an associated blockchain technology data structure. The blockchain technology data structure is associated with the encrypted identity. A progress element notification is received from the MCE in response to the entity satisfying criteria for a predefined progress element associated with the MCE. In response, a static NFT, corresponding to the predefined progress element, is generated and stored as a block in the blockchain technology data structure. An entry in an anonymous leaderboard output is generated based on the blockchain technology data structure, where the entry identifies the entity by the encrypted identity.

    Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for using a machine learning module to rank technical solutions to user described technical problems to provide to a user. A solutions database is searched to determine a result set of answer files having keywords related to keywords of a technical problem in a user description. The result set of answer files, the user description of the technical problem, user profile information, and technical specifications of the computing system are provided as input to a machine learning module. The machine learning module outputs ranks of the answer files in the result set. A subset of answer files in the result set is selected based on ranks of the answer files in the result set and returned to the user.

User settings are received to configure a data class having data attributes with encryption settings. The data class is stored with the received user encryption settings. A job is received indicating a data set to store to a removable storage medium. A data class is determined having data class attributes matching data attributes of the data set indicated in the job. A determination is made from the determined data class whether to encrypt the data.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for dynamic management of buffers by the buffer manager for a hierarchical file system. A system according to the present invention includes a buffer pool which is comprised of both fixed and virtual storage. The buffer pool is logically partitioned into three states, fixed, pageable and released, wherein each of the plurality of buffers in the buffer pool exists in one of these states. The system further comprises the buffer manager, which dynamically manages the buffers in the system by moving them between these three states in a non-disruptive manner based on a comparison between the actual usage of fixed and virtual storage compared with target usage values for the fixed and virtual storage.
