  • Patent number: 9447979
Abstract: The invention relates to a sucking means, preferably vortex generator or tornado suction means, preferably for a suction hood, which pulls the air into a suction hood by generating an at least substantially circular, cyclone, vortex or helix movement, wherein the sucking means comprises a, preferably ring shaped, area with at least substantially tangential channels and/or channels with a tangential component which are separated from each other by separating elements, preferably blades, for generating the at least substantially circular, cyclone, vortex or helix movement, a suction hood and a method for generating an air suction by means of a suction hood.

  • Patent number: 9395090
Abstract: The invention relates to a suction hood (3, 4, 5), preferably vortex hood or tornado hood, a) comprising a vortex generator (33, 43, 53) for generating a vortex air stream (336, 436, 536), b) wherein the vortex air stream comprises an at least substantially circular, cyclone, vortex and/or helix like air movement, c) such that fumes or smoke can be pulled into the suction hood (3, 4, 5) by the vortex air stream, d) comprising stabilizing means (32, 433, 54) for improving the stability of the vortex air stream.

  • Patent number: 8350192
Abstract: An oven includes an interior cavity and a convection heating system for developing a flow of heated air within the interior cavity. The convection heating system includes a plurality of fans to provide a plurality of airflows, and a single convection heating element for heating the plurality of airflows. A shroud is arranged in covering relationship over the convection heating system and includes at least one intake aperture, and a plurality of exhaust apertures for discharging air from the plurality of fans back into the interior cavity. A baffle is located within the shroud and generally between adjacent ones of the plurality of fans. The baffle inhibits mixture of the airflows of each of the fans within the shroud. In one example, a first fan provides a first airflow, a second fan providing a second airflow, and the baffle inhibits mixture of the first and second airflows within shroud.

  • Publication number: 20110232625
Abstract: The invention relates to a suction hood, a) which sucks air from a first area to a second area, b) wherein the hood comprises b1) a first sucking means (64) which pulls the air to the suction hood by generating an at least substantially direct suction to the suction hood and b2) a second sucking means (62) which pulls the air to the suction hood by generating an at least substantially circular, cyclone or helix movement and a method for generating a air suction by means of a suction hood.
