  • Patent number: 8020174
Abstract: The method of the invention consists, in a system of the type with three “tiers” , in inserting a fourth “tier” which is the business interaction and which makes it possible to obtain a user-system interaction component that is independent of the services of the application and of the media.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 2003
Date of Patent: September 13, 2011
    Assignee: THALES
Inventors: Celestin Sedogbo, Pascal Bisson, Olivier Grisvard, Jean Jourdan, Thierry Poibeau
  • Patent number: 7698120
Abstract: The method according to the invention is characterized in that on the basis of an existing task model, which may be provided by an expert, it is enhanced with the current state of the user in his task, the events allowing a change of state of the user are described, and the interaction to be performed with the user to manage an event is described for this event occurring during a state of the user. Advantageously, before each interaction procedure, the list of constraints necessary for triggering the interaction is added, and after each interaction procedure, the values that this interaction should provide according to the result of the interaction and which should be presented to the user as feedback are added.

  • Publication number: 20070179785
Abstract: The approach of the invention offers a compromise between various problems: number of languages processed, labeling of phonemes, speed. Its principle is acoustic discrimination of languages, which is performed with a neural modeling guaranteeing a low calculation time on execution (for example less than 3 seconds). Furthermore, neural networks generally perform very good discriminations since their prime vocation is to create separator hyper-planes between the various languages taken pairwise. In summary, the invention applies a principle of inter-discrimination of languages, by opposing of language pairs, then by merging the results.

  • Publication number: 20070078643
Abstract: The method of the present invention is a method of designing a semantic grammar, that is to say one relating to a domain of application on the basis of a generic grammar and of a lexical knowledge base of the domain of application considered. The generic grammar is a grammar of unification grammar type with usual morpho-syntactic features (such as gender and number for the substantives or adjectives employed), and the semantic model of the domain describes the syntactico-semantic features specific to the domain of application. According to the invention a specific conceptual model of the domain concerned is established, this conceptual model is combined with a generic grammar and a generic lexicon and the specific grammar is deduced therefrom. Such a method is implemented for example to ensure the automated control of a process or of a vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060089835
Abstract: The device for automatic production of voice recognition interfaces comprises means for graphical input of a conceptual model, derivation means, means of providing a generic model and means of executing the grammar specific to the field of application concerned.
