  • Patent number: 11918662
Abstract: Provided herein are certain compounds and imaging agents useful for detecting a disease or condition associated with protein aggregation, compositions thereof, and methods of their use.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 10, 2021
Date of Patent: March 5, 2024
    Assignee: CHDI Foundation, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20220047975
Abstract: A water filter system includes an upper chamber removably coupled with a lower chamber. In implementations the lower chamber has a sidewall and a rim wider than the sidewall. A filter medium filters water from the upper to the lower chamber. A seal couples between the chambers and has a circular cross-section and a gap receiving a portion of the sidewall. The seal may also have a cavity receiving the rim. The seal includes one or more arced flaps contacting the upper chamber, a tip of each arced flap defining a circular inner opening of the seal. The seal includes one or more first barbs contacting the upper chamber, each first barb forming a circle. The seal includes one or more second barbs contacting the lower chamber, each second barb forming a circle.

  • Patent number: 11161062
Abstract: Filter systems disclosed herein collapse for storage purposes and include mechanisms to continuously fill an upper chamber, allowing it to be smaller and to include more filters. A UVC light in a lower chamber sanitizes water entering therein. Water entering the lower chamber may pass through a quartz tube near the UVC light for sufficient exposure. The UVC light may be cycled between shorter periods of higher intensity and longer periods of lower intensity. A low power source such as a small solar array and/or battery may power the UVC light. A proximity switch may control the UVC light by providing power to the light only when the upper chamber is engaged with the lower chamber which may protect the user from exposure to the UVC light. Sealing mechanisms between the upper and lower chambers, as well as tote mechanisms and an alternative bucket filter system are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10905976
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of controlling the water flow in a water filtration system in which the filtering system may be connected to a variety of possible outside sources and pre-filtering systems, in order to ensure a continuous flow of water, eliminating the need of continual user surveillance. A combination of float valves and seals regulate water levels and prevent leakage and overflow. Ambient pressure is maintained by venting a lower chamber. Additional chamber(s) may be integrated to expand the capacity of the system.
