  • Publication number: 20250377306
Abstract: A cap having a closed end and one or more openings is attached to the tip of an optical Raman probe sensor. The cap serves to block stray light noise from entering the tip of the sensor. In this way, Raman spectra may be more accurate and consistent. Further, the cap may be permanently affixed or removably attached to the sensor. In some embodiments, a reflective surface may be included on the interior surface of the closed end of the cap. This reflective surface may reflect Raman scattering light toward the tip, enhancing the received signal by a factor of 2 to 100.

  • Publication number: 20250346846
Abstract: An optical interface with a housing such as a bioreactor bag, and a bioreactor bag having an optical interface. In some embodiments, the optical principle of Raman technology is used to provide several embedded single-use optical interfaces in a housing, with associated Raman probe modifications if necessary. In some embodiments, the optical interface includes a single-use cap to reduce the ambient light intensity which can be detrimental to a Raman signal. The device in accordance with embodiments disclosed herein allows for the avoidance of sterility breaks that typically may occur due to the insertion into the housing of an intrusive reusable sensor through an aseptic connection.

  • Publication number: 20100166597
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for treating a gaseous effluent loaded with odorant compounds, comprising a reactor (1) through which said effluent can pass in transit in the presence of a washing solution, characterized in that said reactor (1) integrates a three-dimensional mesh (14) capable of promoting interfacial exchanges between said effluent and said washing solution.
