Abstract: An approach is described for generating a form response interface in an online application. An associated method may include identifying a content post in an online application interface and facilitating evaluation of the content post. Upon determining that the content post is form-addressable based on the evaluation, the method may include generating a form response interface element including multiple alternatives and updating the online application interface to display the form response interface element with the content post. In an embodiment, facilitating evaluation according to the method may include parsing language in the content post to determine the presence of a form-addressable interrogatory element. In a further embodiment, facilitating evaluation according to the method may include analyzing comments posted in response to the content post to determine the presence of form-addressable common language elements.

Abstract: Arrangements described herein relate to initiating social interaction based on e-mail content. Information associated with an e-mail being composed by a user can be analyzed to determine whether content of the e-mail is appropriate for incorporation into at least one social system. Responsive to determining that the content of the e-mail is appropriate for incorporation into at least one social system, a first option to enter the content of the e-mail in a first social system and a second option to enter the content of the e-mail in a second social system can be presented to the user. Responsive to the user selecting to enter the content of the e-mail in the first social system, a first entry in the first social system can be automatically created. The first entry can include the content of the e-mail composed by the user.

Abstract: An approach is provided in which a web page management system receives web page content requested by a browser, and parses the web page content according to one or more assessment categories. The web page management system analyzes the parsed web page content and generates content characterization results in response to the analysis. In turn, by comparing the content characterization results to knowledge base entries, the web page management system generates an “age level content ranking” of the web page content and performs an action on the web page content based upon the age level content ranking.

Abstract: An electronic document is parsed against a plurality of phrases. Each of the plurality of phrases indicates a text effect. It is determined that the electronic document includes a phrase at least similar to a first phrase of the plurality of phrases. A first contributor of the electronic document that is associated with the phrase is determined. A first text effect indicated by the phrase is determined. A mapping is created between the first contributor and the first text effect indicated by the phrase. The mapping is supplied for presenting of the electronic document.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to deploying XForms in an enterprise environment and provide a method, system and computer program product for forms integration of an external data model not implemented through a DOM accessible API. In one embodiment of the invention, a method for forms integration of an external data model not implemented through a DOM accessible API can include generating a data graph for an external data model for a forms based application and transforming the data graph into a DOM representation of the data graph. Value changes for fields of a form in the forms based application can be applied to nodes of the DOM representation and mutations in the nodes of the DOM representation can be synchronized to corresponding nodes in the data graph.

Abstract: This disclosures provides, in one aspect, a method for detecting non-clinically diagnosed cancer in a patient. In one embodiment, the method includes extracting blood serum or plasma from the patient, and then detecting beta-catenin RNA in the blood serum or plasma. In addition, in this embodiment, the method includes determining the presence of the cancer based on the detected beta-catenin RNA. In another aspect, this disclosure provides another embodiment of a method for detecting non-clinically diagnosed cancer in a patient. In this embodiment, the method includes extracting blood serum or plasma from the patient, and then detecting beta-catenin DNA in the blood serum or plasma. In addition, in this embodiment, the method includes determining the presence of the cancer based on the detected beta-catenin DNA.

Abstract: A user interface template that implements a task pattern for a model class and a model adapter that provides an interface for the application that conforms to the model class are identified. A user interface for the application is created from the identified user interface template and the identified model adapter. The user interface template may include a generic view and a generic controller. The model adapter may provide a business object interface, and may be configured to communicate with the application via a J2EE Connector Architecture (JCA) connector. The user interface template may define an abstract portlet, and creating a user interface includes creating a portlet instance that communicates with the application via the model adapter. The portlet instance may be configured using an application portlet builder portlet. The portlet builder may also identify the user interface template and the model adapter.
