  • Patent number: 10054245
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a housing with a bore, a supply port in fluid communication with the bore, a control port in fluid communication with the bore, and a vent port in fluid communication with bore such that the vent port is located at a location of the housing that is between the supply port and the control port. A valve seat assembly with a valve seat body is disposed within the housing and defines a control chamber in constant fluid communication with the control port, a vent path from the control port to the vent port, and a supply passage which provides constant fluid communication from the supply port to the control chamber. A vent valve member is selectively seated and unseated with the vent valve seat to selectively prevent and permit fluid communication from the control port to the vent port respectively.

  • Patent number: 9957852
Abstract: A sprocket assembly which is either driven by a drive chain or which drives the drive chain includes a hub centered about a sprocket axis and defining a hub radially outer surface; a plurality of sprocket teeth extending radially outward from the hub; and a cushion ring assembly adjacent to the plurality of sprocket teeth and circumferentially surrounding the hub radially outer surface. The cushion ring assembly includes a cushion ring adjacent to the plurality of sprocket teeth and circumferentially surrounding the hub radially outer surface; the cushion ring being resilient and compliant. The cushion ring assembly also each includes a retention ring which is partially embedded within the cushion ring and which engages the hub radially outer surface in an interference fit, the retention ring providing axial and radial retention of the cushion ring to the hub.

  • Publication number: 20110041600
Abstract: A fuel level sensor includes a wiper support with metal wiper contacts. A rotatable shaft holds the wiper support and a seal assembly is provided in which the wiper support is disposed. The seal assembly includes a frame and a cover that are sealed together along respective peripheries with the wiper support being sandwiched therebetween. The shaft extends into and through an opening formed in the cover and is rotatable therein with a holder covering an end of the shaft and sealing the opening in cooperation with the cover. The frame is formed with a diaphragm above the wiper shaft that is deflectable to facilitate assembly and allow the sensor to compensate for pressure changes in a fluid tank in which the sensor can be disposed.

  • Patent number: 6779381
Abstract: A threadless knock sensor (10, 50) includes a sleeve (12, 52) around which a transducer (24, 64) and a load washer (30, 70) are disposed. A frusto-conical disk spring (34, 78) is installed in compression around the sleeve (12, 52) above the transducer (24, 64). The sleeve (12, 52) includes threadless structure for holding the disk spring (34, 78) in compression.
