  • Publication number: 20230054779
Abstract: A reactor system with stuck lift pin detection. The system includes a reaction chamber, a susceptor for supporting wafers in an interior space of the reaction chamber, and an elevator for raising and lowering the susceptor in the interior space. Further, the system includes a lift pin supported by and extending vertically through the susceptor to travel between an up and a down position with movements of the susceptor by the elevator, and a landing pad is provided in the system for receiving a base of the lift pin when the lift pin is in the down position. Significantly, the system also includes a sensor assembly with a sensor positioned at least partially within the interior space of the reaction chamber. An output signal of the sensor is indicative of whether the lift pin is sticking or seizing during travel through the susceptor.

  • Patent number: 11110699
Abstract: A printed film curing apparatus for accelerating cure time includes a film tube having an open tube top end, a tube sidewall, and an open tube bottom end defining a tube inside. The tube inside receives a roll of freshly printed media. An intake housing is selectively engageable with the tube top end. An intake fan is coupled within the intake housing to draw air through a plurality of intake slots of the intake housing into the tube inside. An exhaust housing is selectively engageable with the tube bottom end. An exhaust fan is coupled within the exhaust housing to draw air from the tube inside and push it out of a plurality of exhaust apertures of the exhaust housing. A control unit has a control panel, a microprocessor, and a power supply to operate the intake fan and the exhaust fan.

  • Publication number: 20200188852
Abstract: A process for the removal of divalent cations, such as calcium and magnesium, from a saline aqueous solution such as a natural brine comprising lithium, using an electrolytic cell comprising at least one anion exchange membrane. The process allows removal of undesired components before lithium recovery, by reducing their concentrations to less than 0.1% of their original concentration in the brine while the lithium concentration remains unchanged.

  • Patent number: 8864464
Abstract: The mechanical brake comprises a double disc (D1 and D2) rotating with the transmission shaft and some brake calipers (P1 and P2) that apply friction on the disc when activated electrically, hydraulically or pneumatically. The brake is characterized because its high-speed shaft (Ea) is equipped with a drive train, adapting its diameter to some dimensions marked by the existing space and anchoring the brake calipers directly to the cover of the gearbox (M). The mechanical brake thus constituted is capable of braking with the pitch actuator in power position, in initial conditions of nominal power and at nominal average wind speed for an installation below 1 MW.

  • Patent number: 8428747
Abstract: A lead locking device has a lead insertion member having a proximal end and a distal end and has a lead engaging assembly. The lead insertion member defines a lumen extending along a longitudinal axis between the distal end and the proximal end of the lead engaging assembly. A mandrel disposed in the lumen of the lead engaging assembly extends along substantially the entire length of the lumen and protrudes beyond the most proximal end of the lead insertion member. The mandrel includes a distal portion in slidable contact with at least a portion of the lead engaging assembly. The lead engaging assembly has a first configuration while being inserted into a lumen of a lead and a second configuration while engaging the lead from within the lumen of the lead. The lead engaging member has at least two expansion jaws that, in the first configuration, define a substantially cylindrical body.

  • Publication number: 20070219444
Abstract: The present invention is a system for guiding catheters into chamber or conduits of the body without the use of X-ray based imaging systems. The system disclosed is used for guidance of catheters in the heart chamber and heart protruding structures and conduits by using external ultrasound and device based physiological sensory inputs to create a quasi-visual-sensory-algorithm that is used to provide clinical proper sensory and handling input so that device placement is facilitated. The method and preferred devices are designed to deliver high energy defibrillation shocks to the myocardium and also provide a stable substrate for pressure lumens and or sensors used to provide “distal specific” physiological sensory inputs.

  • Publication number: 20060282124
Abstract: The present invention is a system for terminating cardiac arrhythmia using existing defibrillators found in the field in conjunction with a safe junction box. The system is designed to allow the defibrillator to connect to specially designed catheters equipped with specially designed electrodes and external electrodes for coupling energy to the heart that is greatly less than that used with external defibrillation alone. The system has the ability to create internal cardioversion vectors and also “hybrid” cardioversion vectors by allowing the external and internal electrodes to act together in the cardioversion process that is used to terminate arrhythmia in temporary and quasi-permanent implant applications. The quasi-permanent implant applications are greater than thirty day but less than twelve month applications where an implanted defibrillator may not be the ideal solution for patient care.

  • Patent number: 6666814
Abstract: The present invention is an intra-aortic circulatory enhancing apparatus for use in human patients to improve blood flow to other arteries continuous with the aorta of the patient. The apparatus comprises an internal inflation means located within the aorta of the patient and an external inflation means located outside of the patient. The internal inflation means can be an internal balloon coupled to a hollow extent which is operatively coupled to a blood communication means. The blood communication means can be a first hollow catheter tube in one embodiment. The external inflation means can be an external balloon coupled to a hollow extent running through the center of the balloon and continuous with a second hollow catheter tube. The blood communication means is coupled to the internal and external inflation means, allowing blood within the aorta to communicate with the secondary inflation means.

  • Patent number: 6324434
Abstract: A lead locking device has a lead engaging member with a mandrel extending along a lumen and attached to the distal end of the lead engaging member such that it extends beyond the proximal end of the lead engaging member. The lead locking device also has a loop handle attached to the proximal end of the mandrel. The lead engaging member has a first configuration which is narrower than a second configuration and is sufficiently long to extend along substantially the entire length of a lead to be removed from a patient's body. Methods of removing a lead from a patient's body include attaching a lead locking device along substantially the entire length of the lead and applying traction to the proximal end of the lead locking device.
