    Abstract: A vehicle headlight has a cam mechanism for displacing the reflector and the light source of the headlight with respect to each other, between two relative positions in which the headlight emits two different types of light beam. The cam mechanism comprises a first cam member and a second cam member, and it converts rotation of the first cam member about an axis of rotation into a first straight line motion of the second cam member. The first straight line motion is collinear with the axis of rotation.
