  • Publication number: 20130290063
Abstract: A method for optimizing allocations in a workforce allocation plan begins when resource data is received. The resource data includes data that relates to employee resources and to demand for the employee resources. A first set of employee resource pairings is established using the user's resource preferences to assigning the employee resources to the demand for the employee resources. A second set of employee resource pairings is established using predetermined resource preferences to assign the employee resources to the demand for the employee resources. The second set of employee resource pairings includes all employee resource pairings that belong to an optimal solution. The first and second sets of employee resource pairings are compared to provide the workforce allocation plan having the optimal solution with the maximum number of the user's resource preferences to optimize allocations in the workforce allocation plan.

  • Patent number: 8425577
Abstract: A red and near infra-red light phototherapy apparatus designed to accommodate an adult user. A user support of the device may have a hingably connected canopy that contains the red, and infra-red, light source. When the canopy is open, a user may lie on the user support. When adjusted to an operational position, the upper light source may illuminate the entire user support. The apparatus may include an acrylic support with a lower red, and infra-red, light source attached beneath. The acrylic support may be transparent to the red, and infra-red, light. The lower light source may illuminate the entire acrylic support from below. The red narrow band, light emitting diodes (LEDs) may be selected to have a wavelength in a range of approximately 625 nm to 645 nm, and the infra-red LEDs to emit in a range of approximately 820 nm to 860 nm.

  • Patent number: 7731549
Abstract: A plug-in connector for connecting to a glow plug in a diesel engine has a circular cross section and a plastic base body on which at least one strip contact is coaxially provided. The strip contact has a longitudinally extending slit and at least one protruding projection on the base body. After the strip contact is installed on the base body the projection is deformed in such a way that it projects at least partially over at least one web of the strip contact after being deformed.

  • Publication number: 20100003841
Abstract: The invention relates to a plug-in connector (1), designed for connecting to a glow plug in a diesel engine, having a circular cross section and a plastic base body (2) on which at least one strip contact (3, 4, 5) is coaxially mounted. According to the invention, the strip contact (3, 4, 5) has a longitudinally extending slit (36) and at least one protruding projection (21) on the base body (2), and after the strip contact (3, 4, 5) is installed on the base body (2) the projection (21) is deformed in such a way that it projects at least partially over at least one web (31 and 32, 35, 37) of the strip contact (3, 4, 5) after being deformed.

  • Publication number: 20090015012
Abstract: A turbomachine has a housing defining an axis and having an axially outwardly directed first end wall. A shaft rotatable about the axis inside the housing has a first end projecting axially from the housing. An electric rotor is provided on the shaft, and an electric stator is provided on the housing juxtaposed with the electric rotor. A radial impeller fixed on the first shaft end outside the housing has an inner face directed axially toward the housing end wall. A magnetic bearing half is fixed on the housing end wall immediately adjacent and directed at the impeller inner face.

  • Patent number: 6361334
Abstract: A connector includes a male housing (21) and a female housing (1) that can be inserted into a fit-in position in the male housing (1). A cover (51) is pivotally supported on the male housing (21), and an engaging projection (61) is formed on a rear surface of a front wall (60) of the cover (51). When the cover (51) is closed, the engaging projection (61) presses the rear surface of the female housing (1) if the female housing (1) is not yet in the fit-in position, and thus moves the incompletely inserted female housing (1) to the normal fit-in position.

  • Patent number: 6261133
Abstract: In installing a retainer (20) on a connector housing (10), a guide portion (21A) formed on a removal prevention portion (21) fits in the connector housing (10) before a holding piece (22) reaches the connector housing (10). In this manner, the retainer (20) is placed in position. Therefore, it does not occur that the front end of the holding piece strikes against the outer surface of the connector housing. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the holding piece (22) from striking against the connector housing (10) and thus prevent it from being deformed or damaged. In the state where the retainer (20) has been locked at the locking position, the guide portion (21A) penetrates through the connector housing (10) and substantially contacts the seal ring (13), thus preventing the removal of the seal ring (13).

  • Patent number: 6083015
Abstract: A cabling module arrangement includes a cabling strip and electric wires supported on the strip and a common plug to which at least some of the electric wires are electrically connected. The cabling strip has a geometrically stable configuration, and retainers are provided to secure the wires to the cable strip. One or more wires branch off from the cabling strip, and additional retainers are provided to secure the branching wires to the cabling strip. This provides a cabling module arrangement which is assembly- and disassembly-compatible and assures functionally secure connections of electrically actuatable accessories which are difficult to access.
