Abstract: Systems, methods and procedures are described for detecting passive intermodulation (PIM) associated with wireless communication devices and infrastructure. In one implementation, equipment and functionalities associated with a wireless communication system are used to detect PIM. In a particular implementation, PIM is detected using one or more components integral to a base station transceiver. The PIM may be communicated to other wireless communication elements for evaluation.

Abstract: An antenna described herein includes a supporting substrate configured to be secured without requiring mounting holes, and a conductive antenna ground plane formed at the supporting substrate. A set of spaced apart and independently operable antenna elements are formed at the supporting substrate and are sized to wirelessly exchange communications signals at a first predetermined frequency or first predetermined range of frequencies for wireless communications. The spaced apart antenna elements are configured for electronic beam steering of the antenna, for remote electronic tilting of the antenna, for operating the antenna as a phased array, etc.
