    Abstract: A system for transmission of an eye pattern from a remote modem to a local modem for oscilloscope display includes divider circuitry for adjusting the speed of transmission so as to accommodate the speed of the modem and provide a clear, unflickering oscilloscope display. The system also includes provisions for providing a continuous line impairment display as well as provisions for providing equalizer tap information.
