  • Publication number: 20170187583
Abstract: Compliance with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between an ecommerce provider and its customer may be determined using real user monitoring by collecting data for each HTTP/HTTPS request and response sent to the ecommerce provider. The presence of a content delivery network (CDN), also monitoring every HTTP/HTTPS request sent from a user, through the CDN provides an external, third-party confirmation of compliance. Real user monitoring is collected at the SaaS system by triggering an event rule, collecting data regarding the performance of the request and the response, and logging the created message. The log is processed and stored in a performance monitoring system where indexed for calculations and presentation.

  • Patent number: 9617085
Abstract: A method of operating a tilting carrier assembly includes operating a conveyor in a primary direction of travel and supporting a work piece from the conveyor by a pair of links. A pair of respective upper connection points of the links are laterally spaced transverse to the primary direction of travel and a pair of respective lower connection points of the links are also laterally spaced. The work piece is conveyed along the primary direction of travel relative to a work station, and the upper connection points are tilted so that a line therebetween forms a first angle relative to horizontal. In response, the lower connection points and the work piece are tilted to a second angle relative to horizontal, and the second angle is greater than the first angle.

  • Publication number: 20160348327
Abstract: A shoreline protection and bank stabilization system and method are provided that creates a living shoreline suitable for a variety of soils and wave energy conditions. A combination of recycled plastic matrix layers of geo-synthetic recycled plastic matrix sheets is employed, including matrix sheets that are planted during installation and those that contain pre-grown vegetation. The sheets are secured on a newly constructed or existing levee, earthen berm or earthen terrace. When installed, the system protects and stabilizes banks and shorelines with a variety of soils including loose organics. The system also stabilizes and protects banks and shorelines from a variety of wave energy environments including open water wave action in coastal waters throughout the United States and internationally, but especially in the coastal environment of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.
