  • Patent number: 12632884
Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide a system for dynamically serving personalized content for presentation across computing devices of different guests in an online retail environment. A server system can: retrieve, from a data repository, a subset of predefined content stories having a predetermined activation status and guest purchase data for at least a portion of guests in the online retail environment, the guest purchase data indicating products each guest purchased, determine product embeddings for each story in the subset, each embedding indicating a product linked to the story, determine, based on applying a guest story similarity (GSS) model to the guest purchase data for each guest, a similarity score between the guest purchase data and the embeddings that indicates a likelihood the guest would purchase products embedded in the story, and serve a content story having a similarity score that satisfies one or more guest personalization criteria.

  • Publication number: 20210187136
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a novel splint bath assembly for creating a sanitary and effective sterilization conditions for preparing material for splints and casts. In one embodiment, the splint bath assembly includes a reservoir, an ultraviolet light system, circulation pump, and a heat exchanger. The circulation pump creates convection flow to continuously circulate water in the reservoir over the ultraviolet light system to sanitize the water in the reservoir. Additionally, the splint bath assembly can include an heat sanitation mode that generally heats the water in the reservoir to a relatively high temperature for several minutes to offer an additional method for reducing or eliminating organisms found in this environment. The splint bath assembly can be arranged to automatically and efficiently drain water from the splint bath to facilitate clinician clean up.

Abstract: A ferrule for optical connectors. The ferrule includes a mating face for mating with a mating ferrule. Fiber receiving openings extend through the mating face. A protrusion surface extends from the mating face. The protrusion surface surrounds the fiber receiving openings, wherein all of the fiber receiving openings extend through the protrusion surface of the mating face. A top surface of the ferrule has an opening, the opening is positioned proximate to the mating face. A fiber positioning member is positioned in the ferrule, the fiber positioning member has channels which cooperate with individual fibers to properly position and retain the fibers in the ferrule. The channels have tapered surfaces which guide the fibers into the channels smoothly without the fiber abutting on the wall of the channels.
