Abstract: A base for use with scaffolding. Side support members of the base have scaffold receiving members provided at ends thereof. First cross member and second cross member extend between the side support members and are rotatably mounted to the side support members. First wheels are mounted to the first cross member and second wheels are mounted to the second cross member. A connecting shaft extends between and is pivotally mounted to the first cross member and the second cross member. As the first cross member and the first wheels are rotated in a first direction, the second cross member and the second wheels are rotated in a second direction from a first position to a second position, allowing the first wheels and the second wheels to be positioned in engagement with the ground or floor surface.

Abstract: An energy efficient heating and cooling system is defined by a closed loop coil system of conduit in which the tubing through which fluid flows is located to the interior of the structure, preferably above the winter-heated space and below an insulated roof or in a multi-level building floor, so that heat rising to the ceiling may be recovered in a geothermal heat pump. The structure source loop may be combined with an optional ground source loop. A furnace controls the flow of heated air into the structure and supplies supplemental heat and the system is under the control of a microprocessor.

Abstract: A system and method for network performance testing are developed. One system includes a control network device configured to send network test performance settings configure at least one data generator and network switches so that each data generator sends test data via a plurality of network entities such as network ports or cable modems, for example. The exemplary system further includes at least one data receiver for receiving the test data from the at least one data generator via the network entities and an entity under testing such as a cable modem termination system, for example. In one embodiment, when a data receiver receives the test data, the data receiver provides the received test data to the control network device that generates a test result record based on the test data received on the data receiver.
