  • Publication number: 20250101182
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to poly(ester-imide)s (“PEIs”) exhibiting low dielectric constant and dissipation factors, and uses thereof. Such polymers can be used for producing articles, such articles being suitable for mobile electronic device components, for example films or structural components. The present disclosure further relates to solutions comprising the PEIs and use of the solutions for the manufacture of films or mobile electronic device articles or components.

  • Patent number: 8366955
Abstract: A fire extinguishing composition is provided that is suitable for use as a fire extinguishing agent in fire suppression, particularly in off-road vehicles exposed to low ambient temperature environments. The fire extinguishing composition includes an aqueous solution of potassium formate. In an embodiment, the fire extinguishing composition includes an aqueous solution of potassium formate and an aqueous film forming foam. In an embodiment, the fire extinguishing composition is an aqueous solution including an aqueous film forming foam, potassium formate and potassium acetate in water.

  • Patent number: 8137758
Abstract: A coating apparatus and method of using for use in dip coating an article may have a container with opposing sides and a volume capable of holding a liquid coating material and at least one article to be coated by the material, and a stepped apron adjacent at least one of the opposing sides of the container, the stepped apron capable of holding the liquid coating material to a depth sufficient to maintain the material in the liquid state and receiving the liquid coating material dripping from at least one coated article positioned above the stepped apron; and at least one support member above the container capable of holding at least one article to be coated by dipping in the container. The apparatus may include localized heating of the article, such as by spot welding, and air cooling of the article using a cooling system having at least one fan and a conveyor before the article is dipped in the container containing the liquid coating material and subsequently dried.

  • Publication number: 20090276096
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling a display make use of a virtual display buffer that acts as an intermediary between data input and display output. The data stored in the virtual display buffer is in a generic, readable first format. A display software driver translates the data stored in the virtual display buffer to a second format usable by a hardware display driver to control a specific display device.
