Abstract: A semiconductor stack, including a carrier and a semiconductor device arranged above the carrier; non-releasable interconnections electrically and mechanically connecting the semiconductor device and the carrier; a first contact on at least one of the carrier or the semiconductor device: a second contact on at least one of the carrier or the semiconductor device; an electrical connection structure electrically conductively coupling the first contact and the second contact with each other via at least one non-releasable interconnection of the non-releasable interconnections; and wherein the electrical connection structure comprises a plurality of test diode circuits integrated in at least one of the carrier and the semiconductor device, wherein each of the test diode circuits comprises one or more diodes.

Abstract: An article feeder assembly having a pocketed separator and a discharge tube configured to deliver articles to the pocketed separator. Some embodiments include an initial feeder assembly in overlying relation with a track extending from the initial feeder assembly to the discharge tube. Articles are oriented in end-to-end orientation in the initial feeder assembly and delivered to the pocketed separator in vertical end-to-end orientation. As pocketed separator rotates with respect to discharge tube, vertical retention members pass through a tunnel in the discharge tube and rotate articles out of the discharge tube. The discharged articles are secured in pockets delineated by the retention members. Some embodiments use one or more cam mechanisms to properly orient the discharged articles as the pocketed separator rotates. Properly oriented articles are then delivered to an advancing mechanism, such as a conveyor system.

In one embodiment, a user can create multiple combined message boxes on a single device, and may assign names to each of the combined message boxes. In yet another embodiment, an icon associated with a combined message box is added to the device's home screen.

Abstract: A mobile coupon redemption system enables a customer to receive a mobile coupon offer on his mobile phone, and to display the offer to a merchant. The customer is prompted to obtain a “merchant code” from the merchant, who obtains the merchant code from a local secure hardware token. The customer then communicates the merchant code by his mobile phone to a remote coupon application server, which validates to the merchant code, records the merchant and customer information, and validates the coupon for display to and redemption by the merchant.

Abstract: Embodiments related to facilitating the discovery of media content are disclosed. For example, one disclosed embodiment provides a method for displaying information related to media items in a graphical user interface. The method includes displaying one or more available media items in a view of the graphical user interface, and displaying a control operable to display an exploratory overlay related to a media item. The method further comprises receiving a user selection of the control for a selected media item, and in response displaying the exploratory overlay, the exploratory overlay includes a visual representation of the selected media item and visual representations of a plurality of related media items that are related to the selected media item.

Abstract: A mechanism for configuring handheld devices is disclosed. The mechanism includes a website engine, a database, a build-to-order configuration engine, and a loader. Among other things, the built-to-order engine communicates with developers, coordinates software licenses, arranges software downloads and prevents conflicts. The loader provides actual downloads for loading the handheld device based on user input received through the website engine which conveys the user input to the database and built-to-order configuration engines. These software modules can be on the same computer, or can be divided among several computers.

Abstract: A device for facilitating the simultaneous synchronization of wireless devices such as Palm computing devices is disclosed. A host computer system running proprietary synchronization software is connected to multiple wireless device connection nodes. The computer system manages synchronization with multiple wireless devices simultaneously. During the synchronization process, data can be (i) transmitted from a central store to all wireless devices connected, (ii) from a central store to certain wireless devices connected based on pre-defined parameters, (iii) from all wireless devices to a central store, and (iv) from certain wireless devices to a central store based on pre-defined parameters.

Abstract: A centrifugal feeder for rectangular items with one of its upper or lower surfaces having luminescent characteristics which are greater than the other surface. It is desired to orient the items with its elongated axis in the direction of the output and its luminescent surface downward. The feeder has a rotating bowl surrounded by a rotating rim. Items are placed on the rotating bowl by any suitable device. A sweep pushes the items randomly onto the rim and a pair of sweeps then insure that the items are flat and only one layer high. The rim then narrows so that items not disposed with their elongated axis tangentially will over balance and fall off the rim. A sensor then determines the space between items, and if the space exceeds a preselected interval, signals for more items to be placed onto the bowl. A luminescence sensor then determines if the item thereunder is disposed with its greater luminescent surface up and a kick off device kicks off items with the greater luminescent side up.
