  • Publication number: 20240074721
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing method to assess quantitative myocardial blood flow and/or myocardial flow reserve, comprising the steps of: (a) pre-processing of images comprises: (i) reconstructing dynamic cine 3D tomographic myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) data, (ii) optionally, denoising to improve the quality of image, (iii) extracting blood input function from a region of interest (ROI) of the left ventricle blood cavity, (iv) estimating the distribution volume (DV), given by the ratio of uptake and washout rates (K1/k2) to stabilize and improve estimation of K1, k2 and total blood volume (TBV) and subsequent myocardial blood flow measures, and (v) data normalization by dividing by the maximum of the blood input function; (b) assessing the individual signals pre-processed in step (a) in order to generate K1 and TBV parametric maps using artificial neural network; (c) post-processing of K1, k2 and TBV parametric maps; and of rest and stress myocardial blood flow to estimate myoca

  • Patent number: 11151713
Abstract: A method and a system are described for detection of anomalies in surfaces, such as pipes. The method includes receiving an input comprising surface material type and plurality of frames of a real-time video stream associated with the surface. The method includes eliminating unwanted frames based on magnitude of 2-Dimensional optical flow vectors of the plurality of frames. The method includes identifying potential anomaly frames based on contours in a dense map created using a magnitude of displacement of each pixel of a frame. The method includes detecting in real-time anomalies in anomaly frames from potential anomaly frames based on trained models selected from a Model Mapping Table. The method includes classifying anomalies in the anomaly frames into anomaly classes using one or more deep learning techniques. The method includes generating a health report comprising anomalies in anomaly frames associated with the surface and providing health report to a user.

  • Patent number: 9909069
Abstract: Recycling spent hydrophobic polymeric media can beneficially utilize waste oil to dissolve the media. The method employs simple equipment and materials, many or all of which are already on location in various industrial operations such as fracking operations or food production factories. The method does not call for landfilling spent media, thus reducing the environmental impact and reducing expense. Transport costs for spent media and disposal fees can likely decrease. The resulting product can be sold to refineries for further processing and repurposing, thus generating additional revenue.

  • Publication number: 20120091944
Abstract: An apparatus for providing a low cost, quick, and convenient automobile jump starting system and method. The jump start system comprises an adapter suitable to receive at least one hand held power tool battery. The adapter in certain embodiments comprises conductive metallic spring clips for making electrical connection(s) between the tool battery and the adapter. The adapter further comprises a plurality of connectible gauge wires (serving as booster cables) each having biasing connectors (alligator clips). The distal ends of the gauge wire(s) may be removably connectible to the adapter or may be rigidly fixed to the adapter. The Jump Start Adapter System may also be removably connected to the vehicle battery using biasing connectors or may be hard wired to the vehicle electrical system eliminating the need for biasing connectors.
