  • Publication number: 20200318768
Abstract: A rapid connect coupler for connecting a fluid holding tank to a receptacle in a non-rotatable manner can include a housing, a probe configured to translate in a longitudinal direction within the housing, and a handle assembly configured to cause the probe to translate within the housing. The handle assembly can be movable between a plurality of positions corresponding to decoupled, coupled and venting positions. The coupler can also include a slidable sleeve coupled to an outer surface of the probe and configured to translate with the probe in the longitudinal direction, the sleeve including a collar configured to engage the receptacle in the coupled and uncoupled positions to prevent rotation of the coupler with respect to the receptacle when the two components are engaged to one another.

  • Publication number: 20200276680
Abstract: A high-precision, low false alarm rate detection apparatus, system, and method for rapid reaction to sudden kinetic impulses caused by abnormal motion, such as kickback, of a power tool. The apparatus, system and method includes local measurement of sensing modalities with local real-time processing and advanced digital signal processing to measure the total kinematic motion of any power tool. A machine learning model pre-trained for the power tool to predict an occurrence of an abnormal motion such as a kickback event of the power tool, the machine learning model using data received from sensing modalities to predict an occurrence of the kickback event, and a reactive device of the power tool is activated upon prediction of the kickback event.

  • Publication number: 20200189507
Abstract: A dynamic rollover zone detection system that is easily attached to mobile machinery and dynamically detects a rollover zone around the mobile machinery. The system detects humans and objects within the rollover zone using one or more pre-trained machine learning models in order to prevent accidents and potential collisions between machinery and people or objects in the rollover zone. If a human or obstacle is identified in the rollover zone, an alert or warning is provided and/or the mobile machinery is disabled.

  • Patent number: 10657571
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and apparatus for facilitating comprehension of user queries during interactions include receiving a query input provided by the user. The one or more query terms in the query input are compared with a plurality of content records stored in a database for at least a partial match in relevancy and each content record is associated with a respective comparison result. A score is generated for each content record based on the respective comparison result and a measure of comprehension between the query input and the plurality of content records. The generation of score for each content record configures a set of scores. A confidence state is determined corresponding to the set of scores and a reply is provided to the user in response to the query input based on the confidence state.

  • Publication number: 20190390219
Abstract: Compositions and methods for controlling pests are provided. The methods involve transforming organisms with a nucleic acid sequence encoding a silencing element and an insecticidal protein. In particular, the nucleic acid sequences are useful for preparing plants and microorganisms that possess insecticidal activity. Thus, transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, plant tissues and seeds are provided. Compositions are insecticidal nucleic acids and proteins of bacterial species. The sequences find use in the construction of expression vectors for subsequent transformation into organisms of interest including plants, as probes for the isolation of other homologous (or partially homologous) genes. The pesticidal proteins find use in controlling, inhibiting growth or killing Lepidopteran, Coleopteran, Dipteran, Hemipteran, fungi and nematode pest populations and for producing compositions with insecticidal activity.

  • Publication number: 20180324253
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for sharing information across multi-device systems. Such a system includes multiple device node communicatively coupled via a network. Each device node has a hardware processor and a memory storing an inter-node data transfer software code including a data transfer ledger. For each of the device nodes, its hardware processor is configured to execute the inter-node data transfer software code to receive an input data from a data source, process the input data to identify a relevant system data, and generate an output data based on the relevant system data. The inter-node data transfer software code is further executed to transmit the output data to one or more other device nodes, to generate a ledger entry for updating the data transfer ledger, and to broadcast the ledger entry to all others of the device nodes via the network.
