Abstract: A multi-directional transport system for transporting a heavy load that includes robotic units that act in synchronization to move a heavy object. The robotic units include an integration of system controls that allow the robotic units to communicate with each other and move in synchronization. The robotic units may be controlled remotely. The robotic units may be battery powered and the driving motor. The robotic unit may have an attachment point for secure attachment to the object.

Abstract: A tire building apparatus includes a tire building drum having a radially expanded position for building a tire carcass, and having a radially contracted position for releasing the tire carcass. A carcass release member is mounted on the drum such that the carcass release member moves from a retracted position when the drum is in its expanded position, to an extended position when the drum is in its contracted position, so that the carcass release member aids in releasing the tire carcass from the drum when the drum moves from its expanded position to its contracted position.

Abstract: A method and tool for converting one imaging cartridge type to another is disclosed. The method includes providing the imaging cartridge comprising an upper half and a lower half, the imaging cartridge not having a waste bin assembly, the imaging cartridge operable in a first type of imaging device and not operable in a second type of imaging device; and altering a physical characteristic of said upper half to form an altered imaging cartridge operable in the second type of imaging device.
