    Abstract: An insect repellent composition includes Hinoki oil and limonene. Other natural oils and substances can also be combined in the composition to enhance the efficacy of the composition for repelling insects. The composition can be incorporated into a spray, lotion or other suitable product and applied to a selected surface to repel insects from that surface. Alternatively, the composition can be incorporated into a polymer to form a variety of products having insect repelling characteristics.
