Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to store cluster information in a distributed datastore are disclosed. An example apparatus includes memory; programmable circuitry; and first instructions to cause the programmable circuitry to: obtain second instructions to create a cluster of first hosts; determine second hosts of the cluster of the first hosts to implement a distributed datastore in the cluster; and cause transmission of third instructions to store cluster information corresponding to the cluster of the first hosts in datastores of the second hosts.

Abstract: An example method of application monitoring in a virtualized computing system including a host cluster of having a virtualization layer directly executing on hardware platforms of hosts, the virtualization layer supporting execution of virtual machines (VMs) and integrated with an orchestration control plane includes: receiving, at a pod VM controller, a health monitoring specification, the pod VM controller executing in the virtualization layer external to the VMs; providing, from the pod VM controller to a pod VM agent executing in a pod VM of the VMs, the health monitoring specification, the pod VM including a container engine supporting execution of containers therein; executing, in the pod VM by the pod VM agent, at least one probe of an application executing in one or more of the containers; and returning, from the pod VM agent to the pod VM controller, application health status obtained from the at least one probe.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for use in association with an online advertising auction. Advertiser bid information may be obtained, including a maximum amount per impression and a target click through rate (“CTR”). Following serving, if a delivered CTR is equal to or greater than the target CTR, then pricing per impression is at the maximum amount. If, however, the delivered CTR is less than the target CTR, then pricing per impression is at an amount equal to the maximum amount per impression multiplied by the ratio of the delivered CTR to the target CTR.
