  • Patent number: 12248016
Abstract: A health signature of each switching device in a control system is estimated using system parameters such as a DC-link voltage, three-phase voltages, three-phase currents, and temperature. The switching devices can be implemented as transistors, and a health signature for each transistor may be an on-state resistance or an on-state voltage of the transistors. For example, the on-state resistance for a metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) functions as a health signature. Alternatively, the on-state voltage is used as a health signature for an insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). Additionally, a junction temperature is estimated for each transistor. Using the estimated health signatures and the junction temperatures, the remaining useful life of each transistor is estimated.

  • Patent number: 11669633
Abstract: A data intersection is assessed of data to be used between at least two parties. The data is to be used in an artificial intelligence (AI) application. Evaluation is performed of set of instructions required for the AI application, where the evaluation creates a modified set of instructions where operands are symbolically associated with corresponding privacy levels. Using the assessed data intersection and the modified set of instructions, a mapping is created from the data to operands with associated privacy metrics. The mapping treats overlapping data from the assessed data intersection differently from data that is not overlapping to improve privacy relative to without the mapping. The AI application is executed using the data to produce at least one parameter of the AI application. The at least one parameter is output for use for a trained version of the AI application. Apparatus, methods, and computer program products are described.

  • Patent number: 10686595
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to configuring a connectivity association key and a connectivity association name in a MACsec capable device. In an example, a first MACsec device may receive a MAC address and a device identifier of a second MACsec capable device. First MACsec capable device may authenticate the second MACsec capable device based on the device identifier. First MACsec capable device may generate a CAK, a CKN, and a nonce. The CAK, the CKN, and the nonce may be encrypted using a public key of the second MACsec capable device to generate an encrypted packet. The encrypted packet may be sent to the second MACsec capable device. The first MACsec capable device may receive a decrypted nonce from the second MACsec capable device. In response to a determination that the decrypted nonce matches with the nonce, CAK and CKN may be configured on first MACsec capable device.
