    Abstract: The present invention relates to systems for photoenergy up-conversion comprising polymers and sensitisers, where the triplet level of the polymer is lower than the triplet level of the sensitiser. These systems exhibit higher efficiency in up-conversion and are therefore more suitable for use in devices for up-conversion than polymers as used in accordance with the prior art.
