  • Patent number: 11506151
Abstract: A dual purge ejector and a dual purge system using the same are provided. A first end of a main body is fully open and an ejecting end of a nozzle is located proximate to the opening hole. Therefore, even if the ejector is disconnected from an adapter, negative pressure is not formed in a main body, to prevent discharge of fuel evaporation gas into the atmosphere and a failure of the dual purge system may be reliably diagnosed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 2021
Date of Patent: November 22, 2022
    Assignee: Hyundai Kefico Corporation
Inventors: Dong June Kim, Chan Karam Na
  • Patent number: 11371476
Abstract: A positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) outlet anti-freezing device of an intake manifold of a vehicle engine includes a first guide and a second guide formed adjacent to a PCV outlet within an inlet tube of the intake manifold to block direct contact between fresh air and a PCV gas, thereby preventing condensation and freezing of the PCV gas. The first guide and the second guide also can improve flow distribution of the intake manifold by improving fluidity of the fresh air.

  • Patent number: 10641216
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a structure for preventing freezing of moisture contents within a blow-by gas in an intake manifold, capable of preventing the blow-by gas introduced into the manifold from freezing even under a low temperature environment. The structure includes a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) channel into which the blow-by gas is introduced, an insulating member having a first side and a second side that communicate with each other and inserted into the PCV channel, and a PCV nipple having a first end and a second end that communicate with each other and inserted into the insulating member to guide the blow-by gas. The insulating member includes an outer peripheral surface in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the PCV channel and an inner peripheral surface in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the PCV nipple to surround the peripheral surface of the PCV nipple.

  • Patent number: 10508627
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an anti-icing device for an intake manifold for preventing freezing of a blow-by gas flowing from a crankcase of an engine into a plenum chamber of an intake manifold through a gas inlet, and includes a guide member provided inside the plenum chamber, and for inducing the blow-by gas discharged from the gas inlet toward the inside of the plenum chamber that is away from the fresh air inlet, and an engaging means for fixing the guide member to the intake manifold, thus preventing the freezing from occurring and the inlet from clogging by the freezing.
