Abstract: Provided are a cover having a metallic grid structure and a method for manufacturing the cover. The cover includes a pattern portion formed of a metallic material, in which a plurality of patterns are independently disposed spaced apart from each other and an injection portion disposed between pattern portions to connect the pattern portions, the injection portion being formed of a non-metallic material. The method includes forming a pre-pattern portion including patterns in a regular or irregular form and a bridge connecting the patterns on a metallic plate, forming the injection portion on the pre-pattern portion by insert-injection or thermo-compression press, and removing the bridge.

Abstract: A portable communication device includes a body including at least one part attaching/detaching section, a case slidably coupled to the body to open or close the part attaching/detaching section as the case slides, a sliding module installed between the body and the case to slide the case and a locking unit installed in the body and the case. The case is slid to open or close the entire part attaching/detaching section. The part attaching/detaching section may embody any of a battery attaching/detaching section, a memory card attaching/detaching section and a plurality of connecting jacks, without limitation.

Abstract: A portable terminal capable of stably maintaining a clamping state of a front cover and a rear cover and having a structure in which the front and rear covers can be easily separated is provided. The portable terminal includes a housing having a front cover and a rear cover opposingly coupled with the front cover, a guide rail formed on opposite lateral surfaces of the front cover and extending in the longitudinal direction of the front cover, a guide groove formed between the guide rail and the lateral surface of the front cover and open to a forward direction of the front cover, and a case member coupled to enclose at least the opposite lateral surfaces and the rear surface of the housing, wherein the case member includes a rail groove to receive the guide rail, a guide rib to be engaged with the guide groove, and wherein the front cover is pressed in a predefined direction to closely contact the rear cover.

Abstract: An image photographing apparatus such as a camcorder has an improved structure for opening and closing a housing door of a deck unit. A tape cassette is mounted to the deck unit from the front to the rear side of the apparatus, and substantially vertically with respect to the deck unit. Accordingly, compact-sized image photographing apparatus can be provided.
