  • Patent number: 10420049
Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing configurations between access point controllers (ACs) over N+1 network are provided. According to one embodiment, a first peer access point controller (AC) of a N+1 AC network sends a synchronizing request to a second peer AC of the n+1 AC network for synchronizing running configurations of the second peer AC. The first peer AC receives a running configuration package that contains the running configurations from the second peer AC and checks if the running configuration package is valid. If the package is valid, the first peer AC extracts the running configurations of the second peer AC from the running configuration package; and stores the running configurations of the second peer AC at a configuration repository of the first peer AC.

  • Patent number: 7016682
Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods that allow mobile devices, such as PDAs, mobile telephones, and laptops to roam seamlessly between subnets of a mobile wireless network and communicate through the network with local mobile devices and/or Internet sites without having to acquire a new or temporary Internet Protocol (IP) address. The network enables a wireline IP router to support wireless mobile devices. The network performs real-time soft-roaming to enable instantaneous connectivity of a visiting mobile device. Specifically, the network relies on the subnets to share IP addresses of the mobile devices.

  • Patent number: 6510163
Abstract: An interface apparatus of PDH network and ATM network, which includes a line interface unit for interfacing between the PDH network and the ATM network to receive bipolar analog data of T1 or E1 and provide PDH digital data when the ATM network receives data from the PDH network, and to receive PDH digital data and provide primary bipolar analog data of T1 or E1 when the PDH network receives data from the ATM network; a framer for framing received multiple T1/E1 channelized data of the PDH network to generate frames and provide T1/E1 PDH data in one of a T1 and a E1 unchannelized mode, and to provide synchronization information and signaling information in one of a T1 and a E1 channelized mode; an interface controller which, in one of the T1 and E1 channelized mode, receives the synchronization information and signaling information to distinguish time slot from said framer, and provides an interface signal containing information of frame overhead; an ATM Adaption Layer type 1—Segmentation and Reassembly
