  • Patent number: 12255813
Abstract: Systems and methods of offloading multicast virtual network packet processing to a network interface card are provided. In an example implementation, a network interface card can route packets in a virtual network. The network interface card can be configured to receive a data packet having a multicast header for transmission to a plurality of destination virtual machines. The network interface card can retrieve a list of next hop destinations for the data packet. The network interface card can replicate the packet for each next hop destination. The network interface card can encapsulate each replicated packet with a unicast header that includes a next hop destination virtual IP address indicating the next hop destination and a source virtual IP address, and transmit the encapsulated packets.

  • Patent number: 12255728
Abstract: A device and method for managing communication frequencies, including generating a geographical grid with a plurality of cells and allocating communication frequencies to the cells. Each of the communication frequencies is used for communication between a satellite and a ground device or ground IoT modem. A communication frequency allocated to one cell is different from the communication frequencies allocated to each of the immediately surrounding cells. A set of communication frequencies is selected for communication between the satellite and ground devices based on a ground track of the satellite. The selected set is transmitted to the satellite to communicate with the ground station located in a cell with the communication frequency allocated to that cell.

  • Publication number: 20250086550
Abstract: An enterprise cyber security back-end application computer server may receive a Chief Information Security Office (“CISO”) request. Responsive to the CISO request, the computer server may automatically create an enterprise application reference implementation. Based on CISO parameters in a CISO data store, the computer server may automatically transmit information about the reference implementation to a communication address associated with a CISO party. Similarly, based on Chief Information Office (“CIO”) parameters in a CIO data store, the computer server may automatically transmit information about the reference implementation to a communication address associated with a CIO party. Data may then be exchanged with a remote device via a distributed communication network to support interactive user interface displays that include information about the reference implementation.

  • Publication number: 20250086389
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a method for generating textual features corresponding to text documents from a raw dataset is disclosed. The method includes preprocessing the text documents and determining topic probability scores (TPS) and confidence scores (CS) using unsupervised and supervised machine learning models, respectively. The combination of TPS and CS is used to generate a compound distribution score (CDS), which forms a comprehensive representation of the output of the machine learning models. The determined TPS, CS, and CDS are then used to generate a set of textual features, which serve as independent variables for a forecasting model.

  • Publication number: 20250088594
Abstract: According to various embodiments, systems and methods disclosed herein can extract an actual address of a visitor location register (VLR) and an actual address of a mobile switching center (MSC) from signaling messages from a circuit-switched (CS) network in a foreign country and forward the actual addresses to a wireless network (e.g., a 5G network) whose subscriber is roaming in the foreign country through the CS network. The wireless network can use the actual address to determine the identity of the roaming country and the identity of the CS network so that the wireless network can exercise roaming control (e.g., authorizing or rejecting roaming calls) and billing users of the roaming subscribers based on which countries they are roaming in.

  • Publication number: 20250077368
Abstract: Placement scenario optimization mechanisms for automatic placement of computing entities onto nodes of a running multi-node computing cluster. A set of failure mode parameters define a high-availability requirement of the multi-node computing cluster. In advance of a failure event, and responsive to a determination that a then-current computing entity placement does not satisfy the high-availability requirement, the cluster is analyzed and a plurality of feasible placement scenarios are generated. Optimization criteria are applied to the feasible placement scenarios such that a best choice from among the feasible placement scenarios is identified and applied to the virtual machine placements over the cluster. A change monitoring and detection facility continually observes the multi-node computing cluster to detect a change of a failure mode parameter or to detect a change to the configuration of the virtual machines.
