  • Publication number: 20240341980
Abstract: Embodiments provide systems and methods to guide arthroscopic SCR surgery by providing dimensional/shape information on an implanted graft. One example comprises receiving imaging data (ID) contained in a video stream captured by an imaging device at a treatment site (TS) and processing the ID. The ID is analyzed to determine ID that depicts a set of anchor structures (AS) in the TS, determine an orientation attribute of each AS of the set with respect to a reference; and determine a respective scale factor (SF) for portions of ID that depict each AS of the set, the respective SF of each portion of the ID reflecting a size distortion of that portion of the ID with respect to a reference scale. Geometric information is determined for at least a portion of the TS where the set of ASs are located and is used to determine shape and dimensions of the graft.

  • Publication number: 20240203567
Abstract: Al-based systems and methods to annotate images and video from a surgical procedure may include extracting feature points (FP) from a still image (SI) of the procedure and each frame of a group of frames (GOF) from a procedure video and comparing FPs of the SI to FPs of each frame of the GOF to determine a match between the SI and a given frame from the video and a location in the video where the match occurred. Then the portion of the video containing the matched image is copied to create a video clip (VC) having a selected duration. Frames in the VC are analyzed to identify image features (IF), where a fidelity of IF identification is substantially unaffected when the IF is non-localizable or obscured. Then the SI and/or VC is annotated with information from the procedure, the information including or derived from the IFs.

  • Publication number: 20230263573
Abstract: Various embodiments provide probes, systems and methods to assist an arthroscopic, endoscopic or other surgical procedure by the placement of digital landmarks in selected locations in a surgical field of view. Many embodiments utilize a specialized probe having a tip with a spherical or other selected geometry of known dimensions to assist with placement of the landmark. The probe is placed at a desired anatomical location and imaged by an arthroscopic/endoscopic video camera. Embodiments may use a deep learning network to analyze the image data encoded by the camera, identify the probe and generate a segmented outline. Then, computer vision/shape fitting algorithms are used to generate a refined outline of the probe wherein the dimensions of the probe tip are used to improve the accuracy of the image including the tip. The improved tip image accuracy in turn improves the accuracy of the placement of a landmark using the tip.

  • Publication number: 20200258178
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for triggering of incident report record generating in a controlled facility are described. The incidents may involve acts of sexual misconduct. An embodiment of a system includes one or more communication devices in electronic communication with a crime reporting server. The system may also include a crime reporting server coupled to the one or more communication devices. The crime reporting server may be configured to receive information concerning an inmate in a controlled facility over a facility communications system that is related to an act of sexual misconduct, automatically trigger an event in response to receiving the information, and generate a record comprising at least a portion of the information related to the act of sexual misconduct in a data storage device.

  • Publication number: 20190253558
Abstract: A system and method for comprehensive automated call center customer/agent interaction monitoring and service level agreement (SLA) compliance. The system reduces a massive volume of call center activity into readable data points and SLA metrics for measuring agent and overall call center performance levels. The system allows for the scaling up of the SLA compliance process, which is currently done manually by quality assurance personnel for a limited sample set. With the system, customer calls are computationally sampled for speaker diarization and voice isolation, speech emotion recognition, unique salient feature extraction, reference pattern template matching, and automatic speech recognition. The system is adaptively programmable for recognizing and predicting SLA metrics such as: customer satisfaction, issue resolution, appropriate agent greeting and identification, customer understanding, acknowledgment, abandonment, sales attempts, and customer retention, etc.

  • Publication number: 20160085866
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system that facilitates analyzing a broad and continuously updated sample of recent written communications for the purpose of identifying emerging and important news and topic developments before they attract broad attention. The system continuously discovers topics and relationships between topics in the written communications as the communications are received. Individual topics and topic relationships are continuously analyzed for the purpose of detecting changes in the frequency and manner in which the topics are addressed and changes in the content that accompanies the topics. The system uses this analysis as the basis for identifying certain topics and the communications that address them as emerging, and therefore, important. The system uses a display feature to highlight these topics and communications for a user to review or investigate further.
