The device may determine, based on the container event and the baseline information, that demurrage or detention has been triggered in association with the one or more shipping containers. The device may generate the demurrage or detention data for the one or more shipping containers using the baseline information and the event information, and based on determining that demurrage or detention has been triggered in association with the one or more shipping containers. The device may provide the demurrage or detention data.
