  • Patent number: 11867287
Abstract: A solenoid assembly includes a solenoid adapted to be coupled to a solenoid connecting member extending from a support member. The solenoid assembly also includes a retaining bracket having a body portion and a securing portion. The body portion is adapted to be removably coupled to the support member. The securing portion is removably coupled to the solenoid. The retaining bracket is moveable between an unsecured position, and a secured position. The securing portion of the retaining bracket provides a spring force to the solenoid when the retaining bracket is in the secured position such that the solenoid is biased toward the solenoid connecting member to secure the solenoid between the solenoid connecting member and the securing portion of said retaining bracket.

  • Publication number: 20200118736
Abstract: A solenoid valve includes a valve body extending along an axis between a first end and a second end and defining a fluid passage, a valve member disposed at least partially in the fluid passage, and a solenoid actuator coupled to the valve body. The solenoid actuator includes a flux core having a proximal core end adjacent to the valve body and a distal core end spaced from the proximal core end. At least one of the proximal and distal core ends defining a bore. The solenoid actuator also includes a bobbin extending along the axis and having a proximal bobbin end adjacent to the valve body and a distal bobbin end spaced from the proximal bobbin end, and at least one protrusion extending from at least one of the proximal and distal bobbin ends of the bobbin and through the bore to couple the bobbin to the flux core.

  • Publication number: 20190091611
Abstract: A filter assembly for a solenoid-actuated valve includes a filter band adapted to be disposed about a valve body of the solenoid-actuated valve. The filter band has a first end and a second end. The filter assembly also includes a locking mechanism to lock the first end and the second end together. The locking mechanism includes one of the first end and the second end having a slot extending therein and at least one aperture extending in communication with the slot and another one of the first end and the second end having at least one post to pass through the at least one aperture such that the first end and the second end lock together in a closed position.
