    Abstract: An illumination module includes a light source configured to emit an illumination light beam, a reflective light valve disposed on a path of the illumination light beam and configured to form a plurality of pixels, a lens, and an image sensing module. Each pixel is adapted to be switched between a first state and a second state. The pixels in the first state among the pixels are configured to reflect the illumination light beam into an effective light beam. The pixels in the second state among the pixels are configured to reflect the illumination light beam into a complementary light beam. The lens is disposed on a path of the effective light beam and configured to project the effective light beam to an area to be illuminated. The image sensing module is disposed on a path of a complementary light beam from the reflective light valve and configured to sense the complementary light beam.

    Abstract: A method for monitoring an electric vehicle charging apparatus is provided. A charging pile that includes a power meter and a processor is used to provide a charging current to an electric vehicle through a charging connector. The power meter detects the charging current to generate an initial current value and an initial power value that correspond to an initial charging time, and a present current value and a present power value that correspond to a present time, so that the processor calculates an initial resistance value and a present resistance value of the charging connector accordingly, and then calculates an estimated present temperature value of the charging connector based on the initial resistance value and the present resistance value. The estimated present temperature value is compared with an over-temperature threshold to determine whether to reduce the charging current.

    Abstract: A flow conditioning assembly for a flow velocity and mass flow measurement apparatus utilizing micromachined flow sensing elements is disclosed for maintaining high metrological performance. The assembly introduces a flow profile shatter and redistribution mechanism before the flowing fluid enters the flow straightener and flow profiler combined flow conditioning. The assembly further removes the probability of flow clogging, has a low flow resistance, and relaxes the metrological requirements of the connecting pipework system. An alternative build with a bypass flow chamber with a flow redistribution channel allows the measurable flow velocity to extend to more than three times the configuration where the micromachined flow sensing elements are placed inside the center of the main flow channel.

When width of a second valid data reception window is greater than width of a first valid data reception window corresponding to the same predetermined value, the first valid data reception window in the first eye diagram is replaced by the second valid data reception window.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a method that includes aligned a first wafer with a second wafer. The second wafer is spaced apart from the first wafer. The first wafer is arranged on a first electrostatic chuck (ESC). The first ESC has electrostatic contacts that are configured to attract the first wafer to the first ESC. Further, the second wafer is brought toward the first wafer to directly contact the first wafer at an inter-wafer interface. The inter-wafer interface is localized to a center of the first wafer. The second wafer is deformed to gradually expand the inter-wafer interface from the center of the first wafer toward an edge of the first wafer. The electrostatic contacts of the first ESC are turned OFF such that the first and second wafers are bonded to one another by the inter-wafer interface.
