  • Publication number: 20110082381
Abstract: Methods for detecting absence seizures are provided. An electroencephalogram (EEG) recording from a patient can be analyzed using an algorithm. The algorithm can include wavelet transform, in which wavelets can extract an original signal into scales that can be mapped into different pseudofrequencies. The algorithm can also include a sliding variance technique (SVT).
