    Abstract: A horizontal locking case lock includes a coupler fastened to a case and a lock with a housing surface latchable horizontally by the coupler for locking. The coupler includes at least a first wedge portion and at least one latch trough. The lock contains a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism drives and controls movement of a first retainer to further drive a second retainer to force a steel ball into or out of the latch trough, thereby control locking or unlocking of the coupler and the lock. Such a structure can safely lock the case at a public location to avert hitting and pilferage.

    Abstract: An improved cable lock that can adjust the length of a steel cable to snugly wind a target locking article mainly has a shell to house a winding means, a release means and a locking means. The steel cable has one end fastened to a latch head which can be inserted into the locking means. After the latch head is inserted and latched, the steel cable can still be retracted so that it can wind the targeted locking article snugly to facilitate operation of the cable lock.

    Abstract: A steel cable fastenable to a lock also providing light reflective alert function includes at least a steel cable body, a covering layer and a reflective zone. The reflective zone is a bonding layer with the surface capable of reflecting light projecting thereon. The bonding layer is bonded to the outer surface of the covering layer. The steel cable thus formed can be fastened to the lock to prevent theft and also provide safety alert function.
