Abstract: A flat panel display device includes a display, a connecter secured to a bottom of the display, and a stand. The connecter includes a pivot portion and two opposing arm portions extending from the pivot portion. The stand includes a top wall with a receiving space defined thereunder. The top wall defines a mounting channel therein. The mounting channel includes a receiving groove for pivotably receiving the pivot portion of the connecter, and two opposing passing grooves extending from the receiving groove to allow the corresponding arm portions to pass therethrough and enter into the receiving space. The flat panel display device with simple structure is easy for use, assembly and disassembly.

Abstract: An area light source includes a bottom substrate, a first undulated electrode, a dielectric, a light-emitting layer, a second undulated electrode, and a top substrate stacked in that order. The first and second undulated electrodes have the same shape, configured for receiving a voltage from a power source such that electrons move between the first and second undulated electrodes and strike the dielectric, which results in the light-emitting layer emitting light.

Abstract: An exemplary light guide plate includes a base plate having a bottom surface, an emitting surface opposite to the bottom surface, and a plurality of side surfaces being perpendicular to and connected between the emitting surface and the bottom surface. A reflecting film with an opening covers the side surfaces of the light guide plate, and faces a light source to enable light beams from the light source enter the light guide plate. The light guide plate with the reflecting film increases efficiency in the utilization of light beams. A backlight module including the light guide plate is also disclosed.

Abstract: An electric connector assembly includes a plug includes a plurality of pins, at least one fastening member detachably mounted on the plug, and a socket comprising a plurality of slots. Each fastening member includes a magnetic shaft. At least one locking sleeve defining a hole with a magnetic wall is arranged beside the slots. The pins of the plug are inserted into the corresponding slots of the socket. Magnetic attraction between the fastening member and the locking sleeve firmly retains the shaft in the locking hole to hold the plug in the socket.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a housing, a light source, and a light guide plate. The housing includes a bottom wall, a side wall extending perpendicularly from edges of the bottom wall, and a reflecting film formed on an inner surface of the bottom wall. The housing accommodates the light source and the light guide plate. The light guide plate receives light beams from the light source, and diffuses the light beams to emit from an upper surface of the light guide plate. The reflecting film reflects the light beams, which leak from a bottom surface of the light guide plate, to emit from the upper surface of the light guide plate.

Abstract: A universal serial bus (USB) keyboard includes a keyboard main body and a USB keyboard wire. The keyboard main body includes a USB interface and a plurality of keys for inputting data. The USB keyboard wire includes a first USB connector configured for connecting to a USB interface of a computer, and a second USB connector configured for connecting to the USB interface of the keyboard main body to thereby communicate the keyboard main body with the computer.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a light source and a light guide plate. The light guide plate has a side surface adjacent the light source for entry of light beams from the light source, a bottom surface perpendicular to the side surface, a plurality of identical protrusions formed on the bottom surface, and a reflecting film plated on the bottom surface and the plurality of identical protrusions. The identical protrusions diffuse the light from the light source out of an upper surface of the light guide plate, which is opposite to the bottom surface. The reflecting film reflects the light leaking from the bottom surface back to the light guide plate.
