  • Publication number: 20050068909
Abstract: Disclosed is a transmission scheme for a transmitter according to a channel state in a communication system where the transmitter has M transmit antennas and a receiver has N receive antennas. Upon the input of data, the transmitter processes the data in a transmission scheme selected from among a plurality of transmission schemes, and transmits the processed data to the receiver. The receiver estimates the channel state of the received signal, selects a transmission scheme according to a channel state corresponding to the channel state estimation result, and feeds back to the transmitter transmission scheme information indicating the selected transmission scheme. The transmitter determines the transmission scheme corresponding to the received transmission scheme information.

  • Publication number: 20050068884
Abstract: A mobile communication system and method utilizing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) receives channel quality information (CQIs) for subcarriers through which reference signals are transmitted and subcarriers through which data signals are transmitted, in subbands, each including a predetermined number of subcarriers among a plurality of the subcarriers. The CQIs are fed back from respective receivers. Resources are dynamically assigned to the respective receivers according to the feedback CQIs, thereby enabling dynamic resource assignment with minimized signaling overhead.

  • Publication number: 20050018755
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for transmitting/receiving signals in a mobile communication system using a multiple input multiple output adaptive antenna array scheme. A first receiver calculates a reception weight value by using a de-spread signal of a reception signal for creating a reception beam of the first receiver and calculates a transmission weight value by using the calculated reception weight value for creating a transmission beam of the second transmitter, thereby creating feedback information including the transmission weight value. A first transmitter transmits the feedback information to a second receiver. The second receiver receives the feedback information and the second transmitter detects the transmission weight value from the feedback information received in the second receiver, and creates the transmission beam corresponding to the detected transmission weight value in order to transmit a signal by applying the transmission beam to the signal.

  • Publication number: 20050020313
Abstract: A method for transmitting and receiving weight information for creating transmission/reception beams in a mobile communication system using a multiple input multiple output adaptive antenna array scheme. The method includes a receiver receiving a predetermined signal, and differentially providing weights to a first scheme and a second scheme for minimizing an error between the received signal and a predetermined reference signal, thereby obtaining a minimum error value. The receiver generates a despread signal by despreading the received signal, produces a reception weight for creation of a reception beam by the receiver through calculation using the despread signal and the minimum error value, and produces a transmission weight for creation of a transmission beam by a counterpart transmitter through calculation using the reception weight and the minimum error value.

  • Publication number: 20040252777
Abstract: An apparatus for generating a preamble sequence in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system using A subcarriers in a frequency domain. A preamble sequence generator generates a length−M+N+k preamble sequence, where M+N+k is less than A, by combining a length−N Golay complementary sequence with a length−M Golay complementary sequence. An inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) processor assigns elements constituting the preamble sequence to the M+N+k subcarriers among the A subcarriers on a one-to-one mapping basis, assigns null data to remaining subcarriers excluding the M+N+k subcarriers from the A subcarriers, and then IFFT-transforms the assigned result into time-domain data.

  • Publication number: 20040185281
Abstract: The present invention relates to a biaxially stretched, colored polyester film, which can be widely applied in windowpanes of cars and buildings. This colored film comprises a transparent polyester layer A; a colored polyester layer B formed on one surface of the transparent polyester layer A, the colored polyester layer B containing dyes at the amount of 0.01-10% by weight; and a coating layer C rendered adhesive formed on the surface of the colored polyester layer B opposite to the transparent polyester layer A. When the colored film is adhered to the windowpanes of cars and buildings, it exhibits excellent ultraviolet blocking effect and flame retardance while protecting privacy. Also, even when glass is broken by impacts from the outside, the colored film can prevent a broken piece of glass from being scattered. Thus, the colored film is an improved polyester film having high functionality and multi-functionality.
