Abstract: An electronic running exercise machine with a bidirectional supersonic detector has a running belt. A front end of the running belt has a driving device for driving the running belt. Two sides of a front end of the electronic running exercise machine have respective U-like handle rods. A control panel is installed between the two handle rods. The supersonic detector has a control portion and a reflecting portion. The control portion is installed in a control panel of the electronic running exercise machine. The reflecting portion is worn on the runner. The reflecting portion emits supersonic wave to the control portion. The control portion measures the time interval required at the two ends precisely and then the time interval is converted into a distance so as to be transferred to the control panel. Therefore, the rotary speed of the running belt is controlled precisely.

Abstract: A folding device of a running exercise machine comprises a first moveable linkage and a second moveable linkage which are symmetrically arranged. Front ends of the first moveable linkage and second moveable linkage are symmetrically arranged at front ends of the two plates at two sides of a bottom of a front frame of the running platform as movable fulcrums. The rear ends of the first moveable linkage and second moveable linkage are symmetrically and pivotally installed to predetermined positions at an inner side of the lower rod of the base as two fixed fulcrums. When the running platform is folded or flatly arranged, by the movable fulcrums and fixed fulcrums, the force applied is dispersed.

Abstract: A method for adjusting the traveling path of a tread-training device is disclosed. The tread-training device has a seat which is connected with a curved handle, and another end thereof is installed with a left crank and a right crank. Ends of the left crank and the right crank are pivotally connected to a left treading rod and a right treading rod; and another ends of the treading rods are pivotally to ends portions of a left driving rod and a right treading rod. The axial rod moves along a cambered path so that the orientations of the driving rods are altered or the highest points and lowest points of the pivotal points of the treading rods are altered so that tracks of moving path of the treading rods are altered. Therefore, the tread-training device is adjusted so that the user moves as along an upward path, a flat path and a downward path.
