    Abstract: A method of controlling connection between nodes in a digital interface whereby a first node that is a master node determines a second node to be the master and controls a point-to-point connection or a broadcast connection to another node. The first node having the display device determines the second node to be the master in accordance with a user selection, and transmits a connection command of a predetermined format for transmitting a data stream to the second node. The second node determined as the master in accordance with the transmitted connection command of the predetermined format is allocated with a channel and a bandwidth from an isochronous resource manager (IRM), and performs a point-to-point connection between the second node and the first node to transit the data stream. Thus, the transmission/reception, reproduction, and control of the data stream of the program can be smoothly performed.

    Abstract: A device and method uses ultrasonic vibration to modify the molecular structure of water, alcohol, and other additives in a closed container without opening the container and without adding additives. The method comprises applying ultrasonic vibration to a bottle holding an alcoholic beverage to speed up the aging process of the beverage. The ultrasonic vibration is applied at resonant frequency for a length of time sufficient to produce desired aging of the alcoholic beverage. The method further comprises establishing a separation distance between the said vibration delivery plate and the alcoholic beverage. A vibration transfer medium, which may be clean or drinking water, is used to transfer the ultrasonic vibration from the vibration delivery plate to the alcoholic beverage to be aged.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method of transferring a transmission stream in a digital interface which inserts the program number selected by a user into a predetermined region of the MPEG2-TS if a multi-program is included in a channel, and transmits the MPEG2-TS including the selected program number through the digital interface to record and reproduce the MPEG2-TS. The apparatus includes a transmitting device for transmitting an input stream, a receiving device for recording and reproducing the stream, a TP demultiplexer for demultiplexing a multi-program from the input stream or a reproduced program, a recording section for recording program information selected by the user in a specified region of the demultiplexed stream, and a control section for controlling an operation of the recording section. The multi-program is transmitted to the receiving device through the digital interface, and a program selected by the user from the multi-program is selected by the receiving section.
