The first communication path typically utilizes a different communication protocol than the second communication path. The mobile terminal also includes a controller configured to execute a first application, detect an event relating to a second application, and responsive to the detecting of the event, automatically search for external devices, which are among the plurality of external devices, that are available for communication with the mobile terminal over the second communication path.
